Henblas Country Park - Lowri & Ben

To say I've looked forward to this wedding shoot is an understatement. I've heard amazing things about Henblas Country Park, and it definitely didn't disappoint. This was the first of two weddings at Henblas in a three week window. How amazing does it look in these photo's? More importantly - how amazing do Lowri & Ben look in these photo's? Keep scrolling for an insight into their special day.

The sun was shining. Baby calves grazed in the fields nearby, with views of Eryri National Park in the distance - the setting was perfect. Lowri and the bridal party were getting ready for the day ahead in the Bridal Preparation Room, whilst Ben and the Gents were at a separate location on the grounds - at 'the Grooming Parlour'.

How beautiful is this ceremony room? To be honest, how beautiful is the entire venue?

With the gents ready, in their NEXT tuxedo's and guests enjoying a drink in the glorious sunshine, Lowri was being assisted into her dress (by Along Came Eve Bridal). Hair (Laura Vaughan of the Hair Lounge, Trefnant) & Make up (Look Fabulous by Sinead) were complete and the bridal party were stood waiting for the tradition of the dress reveal. Lowri's proud dad got his opportunity soon after. Then the ceremony could commence.

It's now official - "the new Mr & Mrs Mullender". The celebrations began.

The wind had picked up outside so we decided to photograph the group shots indoors. I absolutely love the lighting in the ceremony room so is was a no brainer. Another huge positive about Henblas, is the fact that the interiors and lighting are stunning - this makes life so much easier when selecting backdrops if we have bad weather.

With group shots completed and the call for wedding breakfast imminent, I took advantage of the stunning grounds for an afternoon couples shoot. I always aim to photograph the newly weds during the drinks reception, with an option later on, for a second shoot when the lighting and conditions change. We were in for a treat today (keep scrolling).
