Vale Country Club - Caitlin & Joe

Another boiling hot day at Vale Country Club. But, so that I wasn't a sweaty mess like I was 2 days ago at Alison & Paul's wedding, I asked today's couple if I could wear shorts for the day. Caitlin & Joe, said yes... and it made all the difference. This was the 4th of 4 weddings in 5 days, but I was still full of energy.

My morning began in Rhyl at Caitlin's family home with the Bridal Party..... and what a lovely crowd. There was lots of laughter and smiles, which all helps set the mood. Also, Caitlin's mum did a great job preparing several areas for photo opportunities, keeping them clutter free. I was joined by the amazing Faye Milner on hair and Zoe Ellen on Makeup.

With the dress reveal complete and one last group photo, I hit the road to meet the gents at Vale Country Club. The venue was looking amazing. Today we were indoors which was a bit cooler, which was a good move as it was just getting hotter outside. Even Caitlin & Joe's dog (and ring bearer) Carlo, was feeling the heat and decided to cool down in the nearby pond. Lets hope he's dry in time for the bridal party.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Clayton - now the party starts. After the confetti shot and the main group photo, it was time for the drinks reception. I used this time until the wedding breakfast, to complete group photo's and some nice candid shots of guests enjoying themselves... and of course, some photo's of our happy newly weds.

How cool does the set up look for the wedding breakfast and speeches? The Harry Potter theme looked great. I took a break whilst the wedding party ate, but returned for the speeches.

Between the speeches and the evening party is "free time". I usually use this time to complete any outstanding group shots as well as a 15 minute couple in the low light.
