Hafod Farm - Helen & Paul | North Wales Wedding Photographer

Helen & Paul's wedding at Hafod Farm, near Betws-y-Coed in North Wales, was an incredible day from start to finish. Cracking weather for the time of year, fantastic people and a brilliant atmosphere made this one a real pleasure to photograph. Set amongst the stunning North Wales countryside, Hafod Farm is a beautifully restored collection of traditional stone barns, combining rustic character with breath-taking surroundings – the perfect setting for a relaxed and memorable wedding celebration.

Wedding Morning at Hafod Farm
The morning started in the Cart Barn, where Helen was getting ready with family and friends. Hair and makeup were expertly taken care of by Cassie M Bridal, while the finishing touches, including beautiful flowers from The Very Nice Flower Company, brought everything together.
Meanwhile, Paul and the groomsmen were getting ready over at the Stables, looking sharp in suits from Moss Bros. One of the standout moments from the morning was the children's reveal to Paul in their wedding outfits, followed by Helen's dress reveal to her dad – exactly the kind of genuine reactions I love capturing.

A Barn Wedding Ceremony at Hafod Farm
The ceremony took place inside one of Hafod Farm's character-filled barns, with its exposed stonework, wooden beams and natural light creating a fantastic atmosphere.
The children led the way down the aisle, before Helen made her entrance. With personal touches throughout, including a choir performance featuring music by the Super Furry Animals, the ceremony was full of character, laughter and emotion.
Following the vows and rings, there was time for photographs with the witnesses and children before everyone headed outside for an amazing confetti moment and the all-important group photograph.

Drinks Reception & Wedding Photography
With the dry, cool conditions, guests made the most of Hafod Farm's beautiful courtyard during the drinks reception, enjoying the surroundings and catching up with friends and family.
We headed off for a short couple shoot, making the most of the rustic barns, stunning countryside and incredible natural light.
The relaxed atmosphere continued throughout the afternoon, with plenty of natural moments, laughter and group photographs.

Wedding Breakfast, Speeches & Evening Celebrations
The wedding breakfast was provided by Outside Catering, followed by some brilliant speeches and plenty of reactions around the room.
As the evening approached, we made the most of the beautiful light for another short portrait session around the farm, before heading back inside for the cake cutting and first dance.
The celebrations continued with fantastic live entertainment from John Paul Wedding Band, keeping the atmosphere going well into the evening.
From the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, Helen & Paul's wedding was packed with genuine moments, great people and plenty of laughter – everything I love about being a North Wales wedding photographer.
