Vale Country Club - Becky & Chris
Another wedding. Another beautiful day and yet another lovely couple to work with. Becky & Chris celebrated their day at the amazing Vale Country Club after their ceremony the short drive away, at Llanrhaeadr Church. Here's an insight into their day with a list of their suppliers at the end. Enjoy the read.
My mornings coverage began at Becky & Chris's Denbigh home with the bridal party. I took this time to capture all of the detail from dress to shoes to invites, as well as the hair and make up. Mostly I was looking out for interaction between Becky and her bridal party, which is what I look for all day, for those natural, candid moments.
After this emotional dress reveal to parents and bridesmaids, I left Becky to head to the church, where Chris waited with his groomsmen. We took the opportunity for group photo's and details at the church before Becky arrived, to a surprise welcome party of work colleagues. The ceremony could commence.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Dallolio. The celebrations could now begin with a drinks reception at Vale Country Club. But first, there was time for a confetti walk at the church followed by some family group photo's. By the way for anyone from the area thinking of a church wedding, what a beautiful building.
The venue was decorated beautifully as ever so I took the time to capture the detail before Becky & Chris arrived. Outside, the sun was trying to penetrate the blanket of thin clouds, so whilst guests enjoyed a drink, I was able to photograph them in this lovely natural light (perfect for photography). We also had THE most beautiful backdrop of the Clwydian Range, which Vale Country Club is famous for.
After a few group photo's and some quality time photographing just Becky & Chris down by the pond, guests were called in for speeches and wedding breakfast. I took the time for a break also, after capturing the beautiful bouquet and wedding rings.
Evening guests had arrived so the traditions of cutting the cake and the first dance took place before one last couples shoot, using a remote trigger and some off camera flash, which resulted in some beautiful photographs in the low light.
