Peckforton Castle - Rachel & Matt
It was a glorious frosty Winter morning driving through the countryside to one of Cheshire’s most iconic and most beautiful of wedding venues, Peckforton Castle.

I had met Rachel and Matt in 2019, whilst photographing Matt's brother’s wedding. So, it was nice to see familiar faces. The morning began with Rachel and her bridal party at the West wing of the castle for Hair and Make-up with the excellent Cassie M Bridal.
Matt and the gents were getting ready at the East Wing, before the short walk to the Grand Hall, to welcome guests in time for the ceremony.
The ceremony commenced at 2pm with many of the typical wedding traditions, only in the stunning ‘Grand Hall’ of the Castle. How could you make the ceremony any more striking than an incredible looking bride and groom in a historical and absolutely stunning location? Throw an Owl into the mix – as ring bearer.
The drinks reception enabled me to capture some group shots as well as time capturing the owls meeting guests. Rachel, Matt and I were also able to slope off for photographs around the grounds of the castle. I wish I had all day, but it was time for speeches, before my departure.
Rachel & Matt opted for speeches before their wedding breakfast which made for some excellent reactions. Once these were completed, it was time to depart.
