Kinmel Hotel - Connie & Gerwyn
Connie & Gerwyn FINALLY had their day, over 1500 days after originally booking me to capture their wedding. Tgis was their 3rd photo shoot after a Pre-Wedding shoot and a small ceremony that took place with restrictions during the pandemic. This time they finally got to celebrate with family and friends at the Kinmel Hotel.
The morning began with Connie and her bridal party at the bridal suite. I used the time, pre-ceremony, to capture the candid moments whilst the girls prepared for the day ahead as well as detail at the venue.
Gerwyn and his groomsmen had arrived and took time for photo's before the ceremony. Guests continued to arrive and fill up the ceremony room whilst I revisited the bridal party in preparation for the dress reveal to Connies Dad. The ceremony could then commence, but with a difference. Connie & Gerwyn were officially married a year earlier at Henllan church, so this time it was a blessing, which was delivered by their friend. It was great!
For me, it was nice to see Connie & Gerwyn finally get there time to celebrate, and they were treated to lovely weather conditions. We used the drinks reception for some group photo's as well as a small couples shoot.
With the couples shoot finished and the reception room all set, the wedding breakfast and speeches could begin.
Once the food was finished, we had a small window of opportunity whilst the sun set, so took a short walk to a nearby field with views of the low sun which gave us some beautiful colours.
