Faenol Fawr -Jordan & Liam
In April, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jordan and Liam's wedding. Their ceremony took place at St Marcella's Church in Denbigh with their beautiful reception at Faenol Fawr, Bodelwydden. This was a great wedding filled with love, laughter, and meticulously planned details. It was a true honour to capture every moment.
My mornings coverage began at Jordan's parents home, where the bridal preparations were underway. I captured the delicate details of Jordan's dress, invites, shoes, perfume, and jewellery. The interactions and laughter during hair and makeup sessions, alterations with her mum in the conservatory, and the heart-warming dress reveal with her bridesmaids and dad were moments that beautifully encapsulated the joy and anticipation of the day. There was also opportunity to capture a little grooms preparation across the road at Jordan & Liam's home.
The ceremony at St Marcella's Church was a heartfelt and beautiful event. From the moment Jordan arrived in a stunning Bentley, to the walk down the aisle and Liam's "first look" there was loads of emotion to capture.
Faenol Fawr is one of my favourite venues to work at, and it's easy to see why. The Barn at Faenol Fawr, with its rustic elegance and picturesque setting, provides a stunning backdrop for any wedding. The combination of historical charm and modern amenities makes it a perfect venue for creating unforgettable memories. Plus the staff and the food there, are amazing!!!
Upon arriving at Faenol Fawr, I captured the detailed setup of the venue, followed by group photos and a couples shoot whilst trying to dodge the showers and gusts of strong winds. Once the rain had stopped I managed to find some locations outside which were a little more sheltered from the winds.
After the drinks reception it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. The speeches were filled with laughter and tears, perfectly encapsulating the emotions of the day. Its one of my favourite moments of the day to capture guests hilarious reactions and emotion.
The evening celebrations kicked off with the cutting of the cake which was followed by Jordan and Liam's first dance.
I’d like to wish Jordan & Liam a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day with wonderful family and friends.
