Marquee Wedding, Conwy Valley - Emma & Aled

I do love a marquee wedding - a blank canvas, usually in a beautiful location with lots of open space, customised, and made very personal to the happy couple. This was a stunning wedding and a day that I massively enjoyed in August 2021. It was Emma & Aled's special day, and the setting was glorious.

Located in the Conwy Valley, the ceremony took place at St Mary's Church, Caerhun followed by a marquee on the family farm land near Rowen. The morning began at the nearby family home with Emma and her bridal party.

After Emma's dress reveal to her dad and the bridal party, it was on to the ceremony at the stunningly located Caerhun Church, with views of the Conwy River and the huge Carneddau Mountain Range in Snowdonia National Park - these are the kind of locations I love!

This was such a vibrant wedding.... lots of smiles, laughter, sunshine and bright colours - a perfect mixture. I also love things a little different - Emma & Aled left the church in a bright red vintage tractor. Fortunately for the locals and tourists on the road that day, the tractor only took Emma & Aled to the next village ;-) They then jumped into my campervan for the rest of the journey to their farm with yet more stunning views down the Conwy River, before heading to the marquee in Rowen, via a stunning field of Barley

There's some more Barley field sunset shots to follow, later in the blog. Next we arrived at the marquee field, with guests already enjoying themselves with the outdoor games, sunshine and booze. What a combination... and yet another stunning location.

With wedding breakfast and speeches completed, it was back to the barley fields for some stunning lighting, before returning for the evening reception.

I wish both Emma & Aled a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
