Hawarden Castle Pavilion - Nikki & Jake

A day's worth of new venues had my creative juices flowing. This day offered lots of new opportunities. I began the day, feeling inspired.

First stop, Soughton...to Nikki's family home to spend time capturing the Bridal Party who were a load of fun. Plus the venue was pretty amazing to photograph!!! Check out the interior Waterfall/ Wedding veil :-)

The Gents meanwhile had been getting ready at Nikki & Jakes home in Handbridge, conveniently a few doors away from a local pub. So after flitting between these two venues, it was on to the church. From a grand country house to a Urban Terrace, to a picturesque church, followed by the grounds of Hawarden Castle Pavilions with its stunning backdrops..... this wedding had it all!

Now that everyone had arrived, the ceremony could commence. Handbridge Church allowed me some incredible vantage points.......

Jake's pride and joy is his Mk 2 Volkswagen Golf GTI, which Nikki & Jake used as their wedding car for the day. It made for some great photo opportunities at the entrance to Hawarden Castle Pavilion, which also has a small vineyard.

"Hawarden Castle Pavilion is a 1920s cricket pavilion in historic parkland. In 2017 it was renovated to a very high standard. Might I add theirs a fine cafe and shop selling local produce nearby.

Nikki & Jake opted for a 'tipi' style tent on the grounds revealing the castle as a backdrop. Here is where the wedding party ate their wedding breakfast courtesy of the excellent Marc Macauley

Nikki, Jake, Family and Friends have been a joy to work with and I wish them every happiness in their lives together.
