Faenol Fawr, Bodelwyddan - Rhian & Matt

The great thing about my job is that every wedding is so different. Every Wedding shoot that I do introduces me to so many new unique subjects to capture. Rhian & Matt's wedding had it all - packed with entertainment, laughter and surprises. How could I not like my job?

Although, only a couple of minutes from my home, this was my first shoot at the Marble Church. I remember as a guest at friends' weddings that it was beautiful, but I didn't realise it was this beautiful!!!

The morning started at Rhian's parents house which was a scream - the music was pumping, the Prosecco was flowing, the bridal decor and confetti canons contributed to the celebratory vibe.... and I had constant coffee top ups. I couldn't be happier.

After the big 'dress reveal', it was time to depart for the Marble church for the waiting groom and wedding party.

I love the reactions in this shot (above) - the photo tells a thousand words - Relief, Pride, Beauty, Emotion, Excitement, Nerves, Celebration, Love and more!

Immediate family, Groomsmen and Bridesmaids waited after the ceremony for a mixture of formal and fun shots at the Marble Church.

Meanwhile at Faenol Fawr, the entertainment had begun. Saxophonist 'Matty Hines' and members of 'Soultronics Band' entertained guests whilst drinks and canapes were served. Such a cool sound, this really contributed to the atmosphere. It was a good reason for guests to congregate, which is perfect for me to stand back to capture some natural action from the guests.

Fabulous attention to detail at the Faenol Fawr before the Wedding Breakfast.

This is a prime example of the nice natural light that a photographer has to work with until all the guests fill up the room, thus blocking the natural light. This becomes more of a challenge trying to capture the detail of a subject from across a crowded room. On this occasion there was the added challenge of movement and chaos.

It turned out the waiters were the entertainment!!!

This was all before the Wedding evening party had commenced. So following a few more wedding day traditions the party continued......
