Pentre Mawr Country House - Emma & Mark's Wedding
I love coming back to this venue - Pentre Mawr Country House has so much character and is surrounded by fields, woodlands and the rolling hills and mountains belonging to the grand 'Clwydian Range'. The house itself and its unique grounds offer so much for a photographer - a range of textures, lighting and glorious backdrops to challenge yourself for the day.
Whilst the bridal party prepared themselves for the day ahead at Tommy's, Ruthin, the Groomsmen enjoyed quite the opposite.....
A nice relaxing Spring morning in the hot-tub. One of the many perks of booking your wedding here. At a separate location on the Pentre Mawr grounds the bridal party returned.
The limited light through the windows of the Bridal cottage makes for some lovely contrasts, evident in the dress shot above. Meanwhile the gents at the 'safari huts' prepared themselves.
The ceremony marquee was dressed and ready for action.... just the guests, bride and groom to arrive.
The drapes of the marquee soften the natural light outside, providing ideal conditions for the ceremony shoot. Which certainly makes my life easier as a photographer. The ceremony begins.
Post ceremony gave me opportunity to capture a combination of guests mingling, enjoying a beer and canapes whilst more formal shots of guests were also captured. The next hour meant that I was able to utilise the many venue locations to offer my clients a variation of images.
I love these stables above - so much texture and character! The beautiful bride and groom then had their moment for some portraits and relaxed images.
Then onward to the joy of the speeches - again, a marquee, but a separate more grand marquee, for the wedding breakfast - I was in my element capturing reactions!!
And after a few toasts....the celebrations continued - Again another completely different backdrop - inside the brick stables. But first the throwing of the bouquet.
If you like what you see, know of someone getting married at Pentre Mawr or may simply need a Wedding Photographer to capture the emotion and moments, naturally, on their special day, please spread the word. Please 'Share' via the Social Media buttons.
Thanks again, and a huge congratulations to Emma & Mark - another beautiful day!
