Wigfair Hall - Charlotte & Luke
Just over a year earlier Charlotte & Luke actually tied the knot. Whilst many other couples were cancelling or rescheduling their big day due to the turmoil of the pandemic, Charlotte & Luke opted to go ahead with a small gathering at St Marcella's Church, Denbigh, which I was honored to capture (back when I was known as 'NR Imagery).
One year later and we're celebrating once more. This time a huge celebration at the stunning Wigfair Hall, near St Asaph. The day began at the family home in Denbigh with the Bridal Party and close family.
I took the short drive to Wigfair Hall to meet the gents, before the bridal party arrived soon after, and the ceremony could commence. Weather wise, we were treated to some glorious conditions for an outdoor blessing. The natural light really showed off the vibrant colours. How amazing does the new wooden Pergola look? Stunningly decorated from the team at Scent with Love - worthy of the many photo's.
It really was a lovely blessing. Luke's brother sung us out, before everyone lined up for the 'confetti corridor' - I love this sequence of images, clearly showing Charlotte getting a mouthful of confetti. Sorry Charlotte :-)
Group shots followed as well as some lovely opportunities to capture Charlotte and Luke on their own, before being called in for the speeches and wedding breakfast. Again, the natural light made for some really vibrant shots - the bridesmaids dresses (& brides-man's suit) really added to the mix too.
I always say how much I love the speeches for those natural reactions and emotional moments. This wedding didn't fail. The details in the canvas tent were also really eye catching.
Whilst Charlotte, Luke and their guests settled for food, I took the time before darkness descended for some detail venue shots as well as my signature 'wedding ring and bouquet' shot, before the evening reception could begin.
