Vale Country Club - Gez & Lauren
Another beautiful day at Vale Country Club, Ruthin. This time for the wedding of Lauren and Gez. This day was a load of fun and began 1 hour before the ceremony with Lauren, her Mum and Bridesmaids finishing off the final touches whilst the gents enjoyed a beer and some photographs in the sunshine.
With dress alterations completed, a dress reveal to Laurens father and with guests seated the ceremony could commence. Check out the beautiful décor at the venue, courtesy of Sharon from Cover Story Weddings & Events.
"Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Hughes". There were plenty of smiles and loads of laughter during the ceremony which continued into the drinks reception, and with the beautiful conditions, we were able to continue the celebrations outdoors.
To settle the nerves, Gez & Lauren decided to do the speeches first. This is becoming more and more common at weddings nowadays. That way, anyone making a speech can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. Once again, the Vale Country Club looked spectacular for the wedding breakfast.
With free time in the evening and the conditions looking even more beautiful, Lauren & Gez opted for some further couples portraits as well as a few group shots really showing off the beautiful surroundings - the Clwydian Range.
Back inside for the traditions of the cutting of the cake and the first dance.
Before departing we were treated to a lovely sunrise where I utilised a lovely section of long grasses and trees in the camping field nearby. I decided to position Lauren & Gez with the beautiful skies behind and by crouching down and 'shooting low', I was able to disguise a nearby tripod with off camera flash on top in the long tall grasses. I'm really pleased with these images. Especially the ones with the dandelion seeds out of focus, in the foreground.
