Vale Country Club - Ffion & James

Today was Ffion & James's Wedding Day - a beautiful relaxed celebration at one of my favourite locations to work - Vale Country Club. For an insight into Ffion & James's special day please continue reading below and take a look at the images of their beautiful day.

My mornings coverage began with Ffion and the Bridal Party at Ffion's family home in a small village near Mold. During the wedding preparation I took the opportunity to capture the emotion and moments of the morning before heading off to the Vale Country Club to meet James and the Gents. "Wedding prep" also consisted of capturing the small details from the brides dress to the hair and make-up. Before leaving there was time for an emotional couple of Dress reveals to the bridesmaids and Ffion's Dad, with the most beautiful of backdrops.

Meanwhile at Vale Country Club, the gents had arrived and were ready for the day ahead. Whilst guests arrived I took the gents aside for group photo's, before Ffion and the Bridal party arrived. The ceremony could now commence.

Congratulations to the newlyweds. Before guests were served drinks, there was time for Ffion & James to walk down a confetti aisle which was followed by "the Big group shot" of all of the guests. The Drinks reception was then used to capture guests enjoying themselves, some further group photo's, venue detail and of course a photo shoot of Ffion & James. We weren't short of beautiful views.

Once everyone had completed their wedding breakfast it was time for speeches - one of my favourite parts of the day. Lots of laughter and lots of opportunities to make the bride and in particular, the groom, very uncomfortable.

Before the evening reception could begin, Ffion, James and I made our way to 'the top field' for some lovely photographs just after the sun had set. I love this part of the day as I get to be creative, either utilising the low sunshine or some 'Off Camera Flash' which I trigger with a remote on the top of my camera. Back at the venue it was time for the traditions of 'Cutting the Cake' and 'The First Dance'... followed by some tremendous moves from the guests..
