Vale Country Club - Elen & Dewi
What a day this was. From St Asaph to Wrexham, to Llangollen, to Ruthin and back to St Asaph, I covered some miles on this wedding, and it made the day all the more exciting, offering more opportunities for beautiful backdrops all over North East Wales. Through meeting up with Elen & Dewi, they've introduced me to some beautiful locations in and around the Llangollen area. More reasons why I love my job!
I met Elen & the bridal party at the family home near Wrexham, for 'Bridal Preparation'.
From here, we took the drive to the idyllic Capel Hebron, near Llangollen, to meet Dewi and his groomsmen. We managed some group shots before the brides arrival in a beautiful split screen Camper courtesy of Hilltop Classic's.
I absolutely love this campervan! It makes for beautiful photo's. With Dewi, the groomsmen and guests all waiting patiently indoors and with the arrival of Elen, her Dad and bridal party..... the wedding could begin.
Now officially husband and wife, the celebrations could commence at Vale Country Club, near Ruthin. After a few photo's and a brief stop at the iconic Horse Shoe Pass, Llangollen, with it's epic views.
As ever, the décor inside the Vale Country Club was exquisite. As were the weather conditions outside - ideal for some lovely photographs, before guests were called in for the speeches.
The two best men sung a song for their groom - I wish I could have recorded if for this blog as it deserves to go viral. It was hilarious. With drink flowing and the wedding breakfast out of the way, we were back outside for some more photos and some funny requests.
With the sun setting and casting a beautiful light on the peaks of the Clwydian Range, we were summoned for the cutting of the cake and the first dance. How amazing is the cake by Emmazing Bakes???
I wish both Elen & Dewi a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
