Springfield Hotel - Laura & Dion
It was a lovely sunny Thursday day, in August, where Laura & Dion tied the knot at the Springfield Hotel with their loved ones.
The day began in the bridal suite with Laura and her Bridal party for Wedding preparation, hair & make-up. I also took some time to capture the finer detail of the wedding, from the venue décor to the Dress, shoes and even the stationary.
A spilt glass of orange juice caused a slight delay in the proceedings. Fortunately however, with some quick thinking and attentiveness from Sinead (the hair and make up artist) and the staff at Springfield, all was resolved.....and the dress was clean. I still question how Laura could remain so calm in such a situation. Respect! On to the ceremony.
The Drinks reception and Group photographs followed..... with the welcome addition of smoke grenades - these always look great!
With group shots and portraits completed, guests were slowly called in for speeches before the 'Cutting the Cake' and wedding breakfast. With shorter coverage booked for this wedding, the cutting the cake was my time to leave.
I wish both Laura & Dion a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family. If you know of anyone that might be getting married anywhere in the world, and are in need of a wedding photographer to capture their day, please spread the word.
