What a day! I had the privilege of capturing Erin and Owen’s beautiful wedding at the stunning Pentre Mawr Country House at the end of August. From start to finish, it was filled with love, laughter, and some seriously heart-warming moments. Here’s a look back at their unforgettable day.

Gents @ Safari Lodge

The day started with Owen and Elgan at one of the many Safari Lodges on site, where they were getting ready in their sharp suits. I loved capturing Owen dressing Elgan—such a sweet father-son moment. The buttonholes were the finishing touch for the boys, and I couldn’t resist taking a few solo shots of Owen looking smart.

Of course, we couldn’t skip the group shots either. The gents looked great together.

Wedding Prep @ Bridal Cottage

Meanwhile, Erin and her bridal party getting ready at the Bridal Cottage. The morning was full of emotion, with Erin’s mum by her side as they laughed, chatted, and even got a little emotional during the final moments of getting her into the dress, which looked stunning.

There was so much love and interaction throughout the prep, and one of the sweetest moments was when Elgan saw his mum for the first time in her wedding dress. His little face was priceless—a mix of awe and excitement.

There were a few last-minute alterations with Erin’s mum, making sure everything was perfect. Then, we had the big moment: the dress reveal! Erin's bridesmaids and stepdad were all in the room, and the excitement was contagious. It was such a joy to see their reactions.

Outside Ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors, with the beautiful countryside backdrop. Erin looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle, with Owen’s face lighting up as he saw her for the first time that day.

The vows were heartfelt, the rings exchanged, and then—of course—the kiss! Afterward, they signed the register with their witnesses, marking the official start of their married life. The exit was a moment of pure joy.

Confetti & Main Group Shoot

After the ceremony, we all gathered for the confetti toss and the main group shot. This was a perfect chance to capture the entire family and friends together, with everyone in high spirits.

Drinks Reception

During the drinks reception, the guests mingled and caught up. It was the perfect time for some relaxed, candid shots of everyone enjoying the moment. Then came the group photos—a chance to get everyone together and make sure no one was left out of the memories. The couple then snuck off for their couples shoot—just a short 15-20 minutes of them looking absolutely amazing together, before being called in for the Wedding Breakfast.

Wedding Breakfast & Speeches

The wedding breakfast was simply beautiful, perfectly presented by Maren and her team from Bluming Boards.

The speeches were emotional, funny, and heartfelt. It was clear how much love there was between Erin and Owen, and you could see how much their family and friends cherished them.

Free Time

After the wedding breakfast, we had a bit of free time for some more fun group shots and portraits. The light was perfect for a quick evening shoot, so we made sure to take advantage of that golden hour glow.

Evening Do

As the evening rolled in, it was time for the all-important cake cutting. Then, it was on to the first dance, where Erin and Owen shared a magical moment under the soft lights of the dance floor. It was the perfect end to an incredible day.

What a wedding! Erin and Owen’s day was filled with so much joy, and I’m so grateful I was there to capture it all. I hope these photos will serve as a reminder of the beautiful memories they created.
