Louise and Emmett were married on a beautifully sunny spring day in May at Flint Mountain Park Hotel, a popular wedding venue in North Wales known for its elevated views and expansive golf course. With open skies and long sightlines, it’s hard to think of many better places for sunset portraits than the course here — especially when the light drops just right.

Emmett and the gents prepared nearby in the main reception room, helping each other out with their buttonholes. From here, we descended onto the fairway for relaxed group portraits and a solo shoot of the the groom.

Morning preparations took place across on-site accommodation, with the focus firmly on interaction and genuine moments. Final dress details, hair and makeup by Nia Hughes (Mania Beauty UK), and alterations with family, created a calm but purposeful start to the day. A dress reveal followed with dad and Corey before heading to the ceremony.

Ceremony at Flint Mountain Park Hotel

The ceremony took place in the Park Suite, with Louise being given away by dad, who passed Louise on to her son, Corey. The entrance, vows, exchange of rings and first kiss flowed naturally, followed by the signing of the register and a joyful exit into the spring sunshine.

Drinks & Portraits

Guests gathered for the main group photograph, with confetti adding energy to the moment. The drinks reception followed, giving space for guests to mingle while Louise and Emmett stepped away for a relaxed couples shoot. Group photographs were completed efficiently before the day moved into speeches and the wedding breakfast.

Reception & Evening

Speeches took place before the wedding breakfast, allowing the rest of the afternoon to unfold at an easy pace. As the light softened, remaining group shots and a dedicated sunset shoot on the golf course made full use of the setting — wide skies, open fairways and golden light creating standout images.

Evening celebrations included cake cutting, a first dance, and music provided in-house, rounding off a relaxed and well-paced wedding day.
