Kinmel Hotel - Lacey & Jamie
Yet another wedding rescheduled due to the Covid pandemic, which on a positive note allowed more time to get to know Lacey & Jamie. We met several months earlier for a Pre-Wedding shoot at a dog walking place near Holywell, where I had the honour of meeting their beautiful dog – Bear!
Fast forward to 6th November 2020 and it was Lacy & Jamie’s wedding day, at the nearby Kinmel Hotel, Abergele. The day began with bridal preparation – Lacey booked Lisa from Pure for the bridal Hair as well as Hannah Frances on Make-up.
Jamie arrived with his family and friends. A few group shots of the gents and the ceremony could commence.
The heaven’s had opened temporarily, so the drinks reception and group photo’s took place indoors. That was after we squeezed in a quick ‘confetti corridor’ shoot.
With the odd break in the showers Lacey, Jamie and I were able to flit between locations both indoors and outside to vary up the images. This is always a factor worth thinking of, when booking your wedding location - are there locations both inside and outside for photographs on the off chance it rains (which happens loads in the UK).
Fortunately, the rain wore off and we treated to some dramatic evening skies for sunset, just after some entertaining speeches. I love the reactions!
With the party in full flow, the customary cutting of the cake and first dance followed to end was an incredible day.
I wish both Lacey & Jamie a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
