Kinmel Hotel - Danni & Dave

My last wedding of 2023 and it was for my lovely friends Danni & Dave. A beautiful time in their life, the wedding took place just after Christmas and a month or so before they became three - a busy time in their lives. Today's venue was the Kinmel Hotel & Kinspa, in Abergele and we were treated to some decent conditions considering the time of year.

My morning began with Danni and her bridal party in one of the rooms at the Kinmel Hotel. I used the time to capture the details from the dress, the venue set up and hair and make up. Dave arrived well in advance of the ceremony so we decided to photograph the gents, so they had more time to enjoy the drinks reception later on.

Meanwhile, Danni was being helped into her dress - she looked amazing! After a few alteration pics with her Mum and bridesmaids it was time to get married. The ceremony could commence.

Congratulations to the newlyweds - the new Mr & Mrs Underwood. The celebrations could begin, with a couples photo shoot to follow as well as group photo's.

With all of the group photo's ticked off, it was time for a feast. But first speeches - one of my favourite times of the day, its always great for capturing reactions and emotion.

After enjoying some quiet time, devouring some quality food and capturing the wedding rings, I was called back into the room for a surprise.....

Before I departed, there were a couple of traditional wedding moments to photograph - The cutting of the cake with Dave looking extremely determined, which was shortly followed by the First Dance.
