Mads and Sam were married in May at Henblas Country Park, one of Anglesey’s most sought-after countryside wedding venues. Located on the Isle of Anglesey / Ynys Môn, Henblas offers open grounds, woodland surroundings and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces — ideal for relaxed weddings in North Wales. With glorious weather from start to finish, the day flowed effortlessly from preparations through to the evening celebrations.

Wedding Preparations
Morning preparations focused on natural interaction, quiet anticipation and meaningful moments. Details, final alterations with mum, and hair and makeup by Cassie M Bridal all came together before a series of dress reveals with the wedding party and dad.

At the same time, Sam and the gents were getting ready from late morning, keeping things relaxed and largely candid. Buttonholes, jackets and informal prep moments were followed by group and solo portraits, including a moody group shot in the mancave and a walking shot outside in the spring light.

Ceremony at Henblas Country Park
Guests gathered for the ceremony led by The Snowdonia Celebrant (Alex). The vows, exchange of rings and signing of the register were followed by a joyful exit into sunshine — a perfect reflection of the atmosphere throughout the day.

Confetti, Drinks & Portraits
Confetti and the main group photograph took place immediately after the ceremony, followed by family group shots. Guests then enjoyed drinks across the grounds while Mads and Sam stepped away briefly for a relaxed couples shoot, making the most of the Anglesey scenery. Additional group photos, fun wedding party shots and a quick look at the reception décor followed before guests were called in.

Reception & Evening
The wedding breakfast, catered by Marc Macauley, was followed by speeches and time to enjoy the space. As the light softened, there was time for remaining group photos and a low-light sunset shoot. The evening celebrations kicked off with a first dance, live music from Sandcastles Band and wood-fired pizza from Woodfired Pizza Bar.

Henblas Wedding Photography
Mads and Sam’s wedding was a great example of how strong light, open space and a relaxed timeline come together at Henblas Country Park. With its setting and flexibility, it’s an excellent venue for couples planning a North Wales or Anglesey wedding.
