Jasmine and Conor were married at Henblas Country Park, one of Anglesey’s most sought-after countryside wedding venues. Set within rolling landscape on the Isle of Anglesey / Ynys Môn, Henblas is known for its attention to detail, warm hospitality and seamless flow. This was my second wedding here in a week and the third in three weeks, which says everything about the venue and the team behind it. It's a great place to work at and to be assosciated with.

Wedding Preparations at Henblas

Morning preparations focused on genuine interaction and meaningful moments. Conor and the gents prepared in the Mancave, keeping things informal with darts, football shirts, a new surprise tattoo and more candid moments. Group and solo portraits followed, making use of both the indoor space and the grounds as guests began to arrive.

Letters were shared with the wedding party and mum, creating strong reactions early on, followed by dress, shoe and detail photographs. Hair and makeup by Leanne Liepins and Aimee Paddock set the tone, with final alterations handled together before a relaxed dress reveal with the wedding party and mums. A quieter reveal followed with dad, before heading towards the ceremony.

Ceremony, Confetti & Drinks Reception

The ceremony took place on site at Henblas, featuring the entrance, vows, exchange of rings and a reading from Jasmine’s sister, before the signing of the register and exit. Confetti followed immediately, leading into the main group photograph.

Guests then enjoyed the drinks reception, taking time to relax and mingle while Jasmine and Conor stepped away for a short couples shoot. Group photographs were completed efficiently before a first look at the reception room and décor.

Wedding Breakfast & Evening

The wedding breakfast and speeches followed later, with florals and styling by Natalya's Home Story complementing the space. As the light dropped, remaining group shots and an evening shoot in the top field made the most of Henblas’ elevated views and open landscape.

Evening celebrations included a messy (but funny) cake cutting, a first dance, and a mother-and-daughter dance, with music and atmosphere carrying the day through to the finish. My nights work ended when Jasmine & Conor surprised everyone with a Fireball trolley - a great moment for reactions!

Henblas Country Park Wedding Photography

Henblas Country Park continues to stand out as one of the strongest wedding venues in North Wales. With its scenery, service and consistent delivery, it’s a venue that works perfectly for relaxed, documentary-led wedding photography.
