Sara and Ross were married at the end of May at Henblas Country Park, one of the most striking wedding venues on the Isle of Anglesey / Ynys Môn. Set within rolling countryside with wide views across North Wales, Henblas is known for its attention to detail, warm hospitality and beautifully designed spaces. With glorious weather throughout the day, everything came together effortlessly.

Wedding Preparations at Henblas

Morning preparations focused on natural interaction and meaningful details. Dress elements included Nain’s necklace and Mam’s earrings, adding a strong personal family connection to the morning. Hair and makeup was provided by Nia Hughes (Mania Beauty), with final alterations shared between Mam and the wedding party before a beautiful and relaxed dress reveal.

Ross and the gents (and Dog, Alfie) prepared in the Mancave, capturing candid scenes, buttonholes and jackets, followed by solo and group portraits, setting a laid-back tone ahead of the ceremony.

Ceremony, Confetti & Drinks Reception

The ceremony took place on site, with Sara entering alongside her Mam. Live music from Glain Rhys accompanied by harpist and family friend, Helen, added atmosphere as vows, rings and the first kiss were exchanged, followed by the signing of the register. A bright exit led straight into confetti and the main group photograph.

Guests then enjoyed the drinks reception with plenty of mingling to capture, as well as portraits with Alfie the dog. Sara and Ross stepped away briefly for a couples shoot, making the most of Henblas’ scenery, followed by group photographs and a quiet moment to view the reception room.

Wedding Breakfast, Speeches & Evening

The wedding breakfast and speeches followed later in the evening, with florals by Fresh & Bloom setting the room. A limoncello shot during Mam’s speech in memory of Sara's Dad added a memorable moment before the evening celebrations began.

As the sun dropped, an evening shoot made full use of the sunset, fairy lights and secret garden, rounding out the day before the first dance and evening music from Event Lounge.
