Faenol Fawr - Hannah & Aaron
I love photographing weddings in November - there's just enough day light for key moments which look good in the natural light, yet with the sun setting a lot earlier in the day, there's the opportunity for something a little more dramatic, later on in the day. There's also those beautiful vibrant Autumn tones. Hannah & Aaron opted for an Autumn wedding, and it was a beautiful one celebrated at Faenol Fawr, Bodelwyddan.
Inside the Faenol Fawr, the Christmas decorations were up, so I thought to utilise them in some photo's. The morning began with Hannah and her Bridal party in the hotel.
During the bridal wedding preparation (and throughout the day), I'm always looking out for those interactive candid moments. As well as this, I look for the little details - all of those things where couples have invested their time and money into their day. The Bridal preparation part of the day usually ends with the bride getting into her address before a dress reveal to father of the bride or bridesmaids etc. Then it's onward to the ceremony.
I love these reactions from Hannah's grandparents.
Aaron was waiting patiently with the kids at Llandudno Registry Office for the wedding party to arrive. Then, the ceremony could begin.
We left straight for The Barn at Faenol Fawr to try to capture the last bit of daylight of the day. Hannah, Aaron & the boys were dropped off on the driveway which leads up to the venue for a few couples shots and family portraits. The remaining group shots were to be taken over the rest of the drinks reception using 'Off Camera Flash'.
Meanwhile, the Barn was prepared for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches.
With the cake now cut, Hannah and Aaron were called to the dance floor for their first dance.
