Sarah and Ray were married at Hafod Farm, a beautifully located countryside wedding venue near Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed in North Wales. Set within the Conwy Valley and surrounded by rolling hills and woodland, Hafod Farm offers one of the most scenic settings in the region. With its stone barns, open landscape and relaxed layout, it provides a fantastic backdrop for natural, documentary-style wedding photography.

Wedding Preparations at Hafod Farm
Preparations began in the Cart Barn, where the morning centred around genuine interaction and the quieter moments before the ceremony. Dress details, final alterations with family and hair and makeup by Cassie M Bridal all came together smoothly.
Ray and the gents prepared elsewhere on the property, before some relaxed solo and group portraits. As the morning progressed, guests began arriving while final venue décor and details were captured around the barn. There was a beautiful moment where Ray grabbed a 'first look' of their beautiful little daughter in her bridesmaids dress.

Ceremony at Hafod Farm Barn
The ceremony took place in the barn and was led by Snowdonia Celebrant Alex. The entrance, vows, exchange of rings and first kiss were followed by a meaningful ring blessing, before the signing of the register and a relaxed exit into the courtyard. The beautiful voice of Sarah Price sang us out of the ceremony.
Confetti followed immediately, leading into the main group photograph.

Drinks Reception & Portraits
Guests enjoyed the drinks reception across the grounds while mingling and making the most of the countryside views. Sarah and Ray stepped away briefly for a couples shoot, exploring the surroundings that make Hafod Farm so unique. Group photographs followed, with outdoor games from The Mad Den keeping the atmosphere relaxed.

Reception & Evening Celebrations
The wedding breakfast began later in the afternoon, catered by Sticky Sausage, with speeches and personal touches including the ring box and bouquet charm. As the evening approached there was time for cake cutting and a short sunset shoot before celebrations continued with the first dance and live music.

With its dramatic scenery, historic barns and open countryside, Hafod Farm remains one of the most picturesque wedding venues in North Wales — an ideal setting for relaxed, documentary wedding photography.
