Faenol Fawr - Emma & Scott

This was the first of three weddings at the Faenol Fawr in 3 weekends. One of which I was fortunate to be a guest for a change. This first wedding was to photograph Emma & Scott's special day with their loved ones.

The day began with Emma and her Bridal Party who were having their Hair & Make up done at the Faenol Fawr Hotel. I'm always looking to capture the interaction and emotion throughout the day - Wedding Preparation allows some great opportunities, as well as the time for some nice detail shots of the dress.

With the ladies about to leave, I met Scott and the gents at the nearby Marble Church, Bodelwydden - A stunning venue! Emma and the Bridal Party arrived soon after before the ceremony could commence.

Congratulations to Emma & Scott - officially husband and wife. Now to celebrate, but first a photo shoot with the newly weds before drinks are served back at the Faenol Fawr.

It was a glorious day. Perfect to utilise the grounds outside the main house, before guests were called for food. Typically, the Wedding Breakfast, speeches and evening reception all take place at 'The Barn', but like the good old days (before the Barn was an option) Emma & Scott opted to continue their reception in the main house.

With drinks flowing and music in full flow courtesy of 'Billy Bibby' & 'DJ Luke Peters', Emma, Scott and I sneaked out to capture the sun as it set. The light was perfect - a lovely moment before ending the shoot with the traditional First Dance and Cutting the Cake.

I’d like to wish Emma & Scott a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day, with wonderful family and friends.
