The Beaches, Prestatyn - Berni & Ian
What a day this was. Initially impacted on several occasions by Covid, Berni & Ian finally had their day just before Christmas. It was a day full of smiles and I left every second of their wedding day at The Beaches Hotel, Prestatyn.
The morning began with Berni and her bridal party at the Beaches with Jess Billingsley on Make up and Belinda from Pin-up's in Rhyl styling hair. I was able to take advantage of all of the Christmas decorations around the venue. We were also treated to some beautiful weather conditions on the day.
Ian and the Groomsmen were also on the grounds, meeting guests and enjoying pre-ceremony drinks. The Ring-Security was also now in the building!
Berni was now ready for her dress reveal to her son who would walk her down the aisle. It was a lovely moment to photograph. The ceremony could begin.
This was a great moment - Berni & Ian's youngest son who was responsible for looking after the rings, found an attempted sabotage on the 'Ring Security Box' by those nuisance Christmas elves.
Congratulations to the newlyweds - Mr & Mrs Billingsley. Before Drinks were served, we made time for a quick group photograph next to the beach, before the party could begin.
This day was so full of love and laughter - I absolutely love these days and capturing all of these beautiful candid moments. Once I had completed the couples shoot and the group photo's, we headed back inside for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches.... accompanied by "Dave the Sax" who lifted the energy even further.
With the speeches done, we were into the evening reception and the traditions of cutting the cake and the first dance.
