The Barn - Paula & Pete
I've attended and photographed many weddings at Faenol Fawr. This was my first at their new venue just across the way called 'The Barn'. "Romantically Rustic - With it’s solid stone whitewashed walls & soaring timber-framed ceilings, The Barn is a romantic spot, perfect for relaxed weddings in any season" [https://faenolfawrhotel.co.uk/barn-north-wales-events-venue/]. I absolutely loved it!
Lots of texture, colour and character, make this a real hit. I look forward to many opportunities to work alongside the team here :-) Meanwhile, on the morning of August 24th, 2019........ I ventured over to the brides and grooms house to meet the bride, Paula.
A few hours later, there was further opportunities to capture the bridal party at the Barn, arriving in the stunning vintage VW Split-screen Campervan, by Split the Difference/ Hilltop Classics. The gents had been waiting patiently and took their moment, for a few quick pics. All before the ceremony could commence.
Trying to work around the bright, hot sun, we were able to try plenty of new locations and backdrops on the grounds of Faenol Fawr, with some lovely results. Also, the drinks reception allowed natural opportunities to capture the celebration and emotion..... followed by the speeches.
Into the evening, feeling satisfied, after 'Afternoon Tea', Pete, Paula & I decided to go for a walk. The sun was at a glorious height for me to be creative and they were in the zone after what was a great day, so far. Evening guests arrived and everyone were able to enjoy the beautiful evening outdoors. Who doesn't love summer. All before the first dance.
I wish both Paula & Pete a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.
