Kinmel Hotel - Ceri & James

Ceri & James must have broken the record for the shortest planned wedding, as far as any of my Brides and Grooms compare. I'm sure it was 4 months from first contact to the actual Wedding. Fortunately for both parties, I was free to capture the day.

The day began at Ceri's Mums place before the entire party took to nearby Kinmel Hotel & Kinspa for the ceremony and reception. For me, it was only a short, half day, but there was certainly plenty of opportunity to capture a beautiful wedding!

The ceremony room was dressed beautifully, with plenty of light illuminating the room from nearby windows and from bouncing off mirrors. Its amazing how much darker a room goes once the guests arrive. So these high windows and mirrors are vital.

After an emotional service, Ceri & James, the new Mr & Mrs Pownall, exited the room in style, dancing down the aisle into a wave of confetti.

The Drinks Reception gave opportunity for natural shots of guests mingling, enjoying some alcohol and cracking jokes. This time is perfect to complete requested group shots as well as a nice long walk in and around the grounds, just with the Bride & Groom.

Not only were the happy couple celebrating their wedding day , but it was a double celebration as Ceri turned 40 on this exact day. The celebrations ran into the Speeches, and beyond.

I wish both Ceri & James a lifetime of happiness together. I loved capturing their day with great friends and family.

If you know of anyone that might be getting married at the Kinmel or anywhere else in the world, and are in need of a wedding photographer to capture their day, please spread the word.

CONGRATULATIONS MR & MRS POWNALL!!!!!
