Abbeywood Estate - Louise & Rob's Wedding

From the very moment that I first met Louise & Rob at the Cheshire Wedding Fayre, I was completely sold. They simply mentioned that they were "getting married at Abbeywood Estate"...... the same place that Maisy, my wife, and I, were married in 2015. So, this was an extra special shoot. It was imperative that I nailed my first opportunity for this lovely couple. I'd like to think that my enthusiasm rubbed off - and I am thankful that they gave me this opportunity.

"Abbeywood is a 45 Acre Estate nestling in the Delamere Countryside, right in the Heart of Cheshire and Home to the Rowlinson Family since 1987" - (www.abbeywoodestate.com).

The many buildings at Abbeywood, are surrounded by dense woodland and pristine manicured gardens, which are a perfect mix, for capturing stunning imagery.

But first, let's start with the Wedding Preparation shots, which took place at the brides parents house on this stunning summer sunny day.

A popular request in many of my shoots, is for the brides parents and bridesmaids to be captured witnessing the bride in her dress, for their first time. I loved this particular unveiling, as I was so limited with space and was adamant I was to capture both the bride and the reactions. Here I used my Tamron 24-70mm lens, set at f.4, 1/100th sec with an ISO-400. A deeper depth of field would have given sharper results, but I'm overall pleased.

Then, off to church, to get married. And what a beautiful venue for a ceremony - St. Andrews Church, Tarvin.

Then onward to those incredible grounds at Abbeywood Estate, where the 3 of us simply went walkabout.

Louise & Rob utilised the grounds at Abbeywood with canape's and drinks on the lawns to accompany lawn games, before gathering at the iconic 'Orangery' for Wedding Breakfast and speeches.

Here's some action on the inside. The Orangery was somewhere I couldn't wait to shoot as the lighting is so good and I love to capture guest reaction during the speeches, especially with my Sigma 70-200 lens.

All in all, I hope these highlights show the stunning venue, but more importantly, the love Louise and Rob have for each other and just how much they enjoyed their special day together. May the rest of your lives together be as enjoyable as the Wedding Day. Congratulations.
