St George Hotel, Llandudno - Charlotte & Ian
With over a days worth of travel, from North Island, New Zealand, and after several postponements due to Covid travel restrictions, Charlotte & Ian finally got their opportunity to be married in front of loved ones in our beautiful North Wales.
Originally from the area, Charlotte flew home with her husband to be and their daughter to double up the wedding celebrations with a baptism for the little one. The services took place on a lovely winters day between Christmas and New Year at the Catholic Church in Ruthin, before their wedding reception at the St George Hotel, in Llandudno. The morning began at Charlotte's family home, just down the road from the church.
I left a little earlier for the church to meet Ian and his groomsmen who had also made the journey from New Zealand, for some group portraits and to capture the venue. Charlotte arrived soon after, so the ceremony could begin.
Now for little Ellie to steel the show :-)
Next stop.... The St George Hotel, Llandudno for drinks, canapes and more photo opportunities.
Into the evening and we were treated to some excellent speeches from the father of the bride, the groom and the best man, before departing for the bridal suite for beautiful views at night overlooking the famous Llandudno promenade.
My coverage ended after capturing some the more iconic traditions of a wedding day, with the cutting of the cake and the first dance.
I’d like to wish Charley & Ian a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations to you both and thanks so much for booking Nathan Roberts Photography to capture your special day. I had a lovely day celebrating and capturing your day with wonderful family and friends.
